Mud Madness September 2014

The next Mud Madness event is taking place on Sunday 14th Sept at Foymore Lodge and once again we are excited to report that the event is nearly Sold Out. If you or your friends are thinking of entering please do so ASAP to avoid being disappointed as entry numbers will be limited. We will be closing entries on 29th August but we are expecting the event to sell out before then.

Decathlon Half Marathon & 10K

The 2014 version of the Decathlon 10k and Half Marathon will take place over the same course as the previous events. The 10k will be 1 lap of the course and the Half Marathon will be 2 laps plus an additional "dog leg". Both courses are Athletics NI certified. Entries for the event will be open at the start of September 2014.

Etape Mourne 2014

Now on its 3rd edition, Etape Mourne has become one of the "must do" events on the local cycling calendar. The event has two distances, 45-mile and 70-mile routes, both starting and finishing at the coastal town of Annalong. Both routes take cyclists into the heart of the stunning Mourne Mountains, one of the most breathtaking natural settings in Ulster.

There will be two timed sections, both of which all riders will cover. Bespoke jerseys will be awarded to those posting the fastest times on these stages.

Event partners for the Etape Mourne are Chain Reaction Cycles, Newry and Mourne District Council, and the Pioneer Group. The charity partner is CLIC Sargent and we would encourage all riders to download the sponsorship form and to raise funds for this great charity.

Official photos from Etape Mourne 2014 are now online at Results can viewed on the Etape Mourne website. Thanks to all those who supported the event.
